Training as a family or getting your teenager fit by attending the gym can have many benefits and we actively encourage people to participate in our family train and junior gym sessions.
However, if not done properly, then training in a gym can have an adverse impact. That’s why we ask our members and participants in these sessions to follow a few simple guidelines.
Family train sessions take place every Saturday and must be pre-booked and you need to check in at our reception for health and safety reasons. Aimed at families with children aged 11-14 years old. Supervision for the family train must be provided by the parents/guardians attending with their children at all times. The free weights section is not to be used during these sessions
The junior gym sessions take place every weekday and for young people aged 11 to 14 years old, and not parents/guardians. They must be pre-booked and you need to check in at our reception so we are aware of numbers for staffing/supervision purposes. The young people are supervised by our gym staff who will assist them with their workout and give them advice. Please also note that the free weight area is not permitted for health and safety reasons.
Your co-operation for both these activities/sessions would be appreciated.
