Teacher led learn to swim programme following the Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) learn to swim pathway. From beginners to competition standard our lessons are based on continuous assessment to help build confidence and strength in the water, whilst also giving you a life skill. The cost of swimming lessons is £20 per month which is taken via Direct Debit and particopants receive free public swimming with this scheme (excludes Aqua Fun sessions). We have a wide range of instructor led exercise classes in the water. These include Aqua Fit and Aqua Jog where you can exercise to music in the water whilst using aquatic dumbells, woggles and floats.
This really is fun and fitness rolled into one that provides a traditional gym workout with the amazing benefits of water - providing a unique way to keep fit with minimum impact. It only takes a few aqua aerobics sessions and you’ll see a big difference in your overall fitness.

Are you brave enough to take on our 15m pool inflatable? It takes skill, nerves of steel, concentration, balance, co-ordination and determination to get to the other side. You will encounter slippery slopes and obstacles along the way.
To add to the fun of being in the water, why not shoot down our flume at speed and splash into the water beneath - great fun for kids and adults alike!

The great thing about Go! Swim Fitness is you can tailor your session to suit your individual needs – there are 30 session cards ranging from 10 to 120 lengths displayed pool side so there is a card available for all abilities and fitness levels.
You have two options – you can follow these session cards independently and progress at your own rate or you can take part in one of our Go! Swim Fitness sessions on a Monday morning or Wednesday evening.

Lessons for children start from post natal with our introduction to water and run right through various pathways to competition standard. Children will work their way through the various stages building water confidence, learning new skills such as treading water and aquatic breathing and then performing and perfecting different strokes.
Age should not be a barrier when learning to swim, so we also offer adult lessons. Our lessons are specifically designed for everyone from 16 and over to learn the basics of swimming, improving their confidence in water right through to more advanced stroke techniques and training.
With both children and adult lessons, we are using Course Pro. This is a system where you can monitor progress, receive feedback from the instructors and ask any questions or queries you may have at the touch of a button. We have waiting lists for the majority of our swimming lessons at present, but you can still register your interest using our online form.

Our PulseMove system will automatically track your distance, speed, heart rate, weight lifted and calories burned. Your fitness instructor can even create a personalised workout plan just for you! The Bolsover Wellness Programme specifically aims to address the life expectancy target set by government by increasing levels of physical activity which in turn will reduce obesity, reduces the risk of stroke, CHD, Diabetes and a range of other illnesses.
By targeting the most 'at risk' groups this will have a positive impact on life expectancy levels across Bolsover District and contribute to improvements in mental health, long term limiting illnesses and the mobility and independence of people in older age.
Clients are referred onto the scheme by their GP or practice nurse for a variety of conditions from weight reduction to cardiac conditions. An appropriate physical activity program is devised for each client which may include gym sessions, chair based exercise, circuits, aqua fit, specialist swimming sessions, cardiac rehabilitation and BLF active, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) rehabilitation classes. Nutritional advice through one to one support by a qualified nutritionist is also provided.

The sessions are aimed at anyone aged 11-15 years old and places must be pre-booked at reception. They are free to 365 members or £4 per session.
RPM is an indoor cycling workout where you control your own resistance and speed levels and ride to the rhythm of powrful music. Well we are staging our brand new Postnatal Exercise Classes, starting on Monday 26 February 2018. They will be Circuit based activities and will take place every Monday from 11am - 12noon. the session are aimed at parents with children up to 24-months old and cost £3 per session (free to 365 and single all-inclusive members).
The classes are designed so you can work out alongside your baby. You must have had your six week GP assessment (12 weeks for caesarian section) before starting. Places are limited so please book by calling 01246 242 365!

We’ve rebranded our Futsal sessions to the brand new ‘Football Stars’. The scheme is about developing techniques through technical drills and small sided games. Players will be challenged each week on a variety of skills and will be monitored and graded with the aim of getting the highest score possible. Players will be awarded with certificates and a progress report. Sessions will take place on Fridays. They are aimed at boys and girls aged 5-13 years and they cost £3.50 per session. Walking football is a brand new concept in helping people over 50 rediscover their fitness. If you used to play football but now find the pace a bit too fast, or even if you have never had the chance to play before, walking football is the perfect introduction to playing football for people aged 50 and over. We stage regular sessions every Monday from 11am-12noon and you can just turn up and play.
Participants are able to participate in a number of different walking sports including cricket and football, whilst keeping active and socialising with other people. These sessions are staged every Thursday from 1-2pm.
A slower version of the game; which has been designed so that anyone can play it regardless of age or fitness level. Sessions take place every Thursday from 2-3pm (excluding school holidays).

Our ‘Football Stars’ scheme is about children enjoying football and having fun! Our sessions develop children’s techniques with the ball through technical drills and small sided games. Our netball sessions are fun and friendly and held every Monday evening. We have two sessions currently available:

Sessions provide an opportunity for you to participate in low impact physical activity such as kurling, bowls, table tennis and badminton, as well as meet and socialise with new people.
We also have a specific badminton and table tennis hub every Wednesday from 10am-12noon.

We love arranging kids’ parties so if you want to make your child feel extra-special, look no further. Our parties range from aqua fun in our swimming pools to inflatable mayhem in the sports hall or a soft play party in our Play Kingdom! So simply book a slot, let us know if you want food, turn up with the cake, some guests and the super-special birthday child! We even supply the party invites for you to download and print off yourselves.
And it’s not just birthdays – we can also arrange special events for any age group, for any occasion. Celebrate Halloween, Easter and Christmas, or host outdoor summer events or family sports tournaments – just tell us what you want!

Our three-tiered play kingdom will provide hours of fun for your children (aged up to 12) to explore, play and learn. There are separate play areas for infants and juniors which include games, soft building blocks, scramble nets, obstacles, slides and small ball pit! It is open every day and children must be supervised at all times by a responsible person aged 16 or over.
We have introduced new security arrangements for this facility. You will need to go to reception and pay to enter (depending upon your membership arrangements). Your child(ren) will need to hand their shoes in at reception and you will be given a band with a number on it and the matching number will be placed with your child(rens) shoes. You then scan your band on the security gate at the Play Kingdom and this will give you entry. Parents must supervise young children at all times within this facility and any food/drink consumed in this area from our Go! Fuel cafe will be provided in plastic cups or paper plates. Once you have completed your session, take your band back to reception and they will return yoru child(rens) shoes. Please note that there is no time limit on how long you spend in the Play Kingdom but you are not allowed to keep coming and going throughout the day. Any unruly behaviour will result in you being asked to leave.

The procedure to book onto the scheme is as follows:
We have a full timetable of activities planned for the school holiday's which includes, swimming (over 8's only), football, cricket, inflatable’s, dodgeball, rounders and much more. Participants will need to bring a packed lunch (or buy food from our Go! Fuel cafe) and their sports and swimming kit (please note over 8's only allowed in the pool).
Once booked on, children will need to bring with them everyday:
For places booked on Monday's, Tuesday's and Thursday's, please take your child/children into the sports hall between 9:50am and 10am where one of our team will meet them. On Wednesday's and Friday's please take your child/children into the old studio (Studio 3) between 9:50am and 10am where one of our team will meet them. Please note that you do not need to go to reception as you have already booked your place.
We run specific sessions aimed at children aged 18 months to 6 years old to help them undertake at least three hours of activity per day. This program is called Super Tots and includes sessions such as Balanceability, Football Fever, Mini Movers and Inflatable Fun. They are free to 365 members (except Balanceability) and will need to be pre-booked.
They are aimed at engaging children in fun physical activity from an early age and together with parent participation, we hope will lead to a lifelong involvement in physical activity. Please note, our Super Tots sessions do not take place during school holidays.

We also offer hot and cold beverages including freshly ground coffees, hot chocolates, teas and refreshing cold drinks throughout the day. We also offer a loyalty card where once you have bought nine drinks, you get the 10th free. Pick a card up from reception today!
