We are pleased to announce that we will soon be undertaking a major refurbishment of our gym facilities to enhance your overall fitness experience.
The project will include building improvements and the installation of brand-new, gym equipment.
To complete these works safely and efficiently, the gym will be closed in phases:
· Full Closure: Monday 16 November 2026
o The entire gym will be closed to allow for site set up and gym equipment set up. Fitness classes will run as normal, but we request customers meet for classes in reception and wait for an instructor prior to each class.
· Partial Closure: Tuesday 17 November to 29 November 2026 inclusive
- During this period, some gym areas and equipment will be unavailable while refurbishment works are carried out. Equipment that will be unavailable will be labelled up prior to the works starting. Fitness classes will run as normal. There may be alternative arrangements for entering and exiting the gym in place.
- Full Closure: From 30 November to 18 December 2026 inclusive
- The entire gym will be closed and fitness class schedule reduced to allow for the completion of building works and installation of the new equipment.
- Reopening: Saturday 19 December 2026
- Gym is reopened and fitness classes return to the full schedule
We understand that this temporary disruption may cause inconvenience, and we appreciate your patience and understanding while we invest in creating a modern and improved fitness environment for our members.
Upon reopening, you can look forward to:
- Brand-new cardio and resistance equipment
- Enhanced gym layout and functionality
- Improved training spaces
- A more modern and comfortable workout environment
Proposed plans will be made available for you to view on the gym floor in the coming days.
Memberships
Whilst this work is carried out, we can offer some membership options to existing members.
o Monthly gym only memberships – will automatically be frozen from 30 November to 18 December 2026 meaning December’s direct debits will be reduced. There is also an option to freeze your membership for the entirety of the works through our membership advisor.
o Annual gym only memberships – will automatically be extended for a period of 19 days or this can be extended to the entirety of the works through our membership advisor.
o Monthly all-inclusive memberships - have the option to freeze memberships throughout the works but will then be unable to use all facilities
o Annual all-inclusive memberships – have the option to extend memberships throughout the works but will then be unable to use all facilities.
o Existing household members will be able to renew their household membership in 2027 at the same price of £400 and will not be subject to a price increase. Freezing or extending this membership type is unavailable.
