Sports Splash Terms and Conditions

  • 60 places are available.
  • Household members will have 1 week to secure bookings before places are offered out to non-members.
  • The scheme is for ages 6-13 years.
  • Future Sports Splash bookings won’t be accepted until penalties from previous holiday schemes have been paid.
  • Places will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
  • Booking will commence from 9am on the 29th of September for Household members and from 9am on the 6th of October for Non-members.
  • All bookings will be taken in person at the Go! Active reception.
  • Customers can only register children on their household account.
  • The cost for non-members is £20 per day per child.
  • Parents/carers must complete a consent form via a QR code when registering at the Go! Active reception.
  • Places are non-transferrable.
  • Places can be cancelled up to 24 hours before the day at no charge to the account holder.
  • Places that are not cancelled 24 hours before will be charged £10 per child per day. Go! Active are not responsible for contacting customers to notify that sessions have not been attended where charges apply.
  • If a child does not attend a booked session and no prior cancellation has been made, this will be treated as a no show and the booking holder will be charged for the session.
  • There will be no waiting list.
  • Children should arrive at 9:50am no earlier and must be collected no later than 3:10pm.
  • Walk-ins on the day are not permitted, and no late arrivals will be accepted after 10:15 AM, once the register has been finalised.
  • The only exception to this rule is if the parent or guardian arrives before 10:15 AM on the morning of the programme, completes a new consent form at reception with confirmed dates by the receptionist staff and there is clear confirmation of the booking with the new date added to exerp.
  • All children must be collected by their parent/carers, no child should make their own way home.
  • The Lead Staff member (Coach or Activity Leader) will remain at the exit door and release children only to the individuals named on the consent form under the “Responsible Person Collecting” section. Participants will only be signed out once they have identified or pointed out the authorised person listed on the register.
  • In exceptional circumstances, if the parent requires another person who is not listed on the registration form to collect their child, the child's parents or carers must inform lead staff in advance and provide a description of the person and a password that they will use. If Lead staff have any concerns regarding the person collecting, they should contact the main parent/carer for confirmation.
  • Parents and carers who collect children after 3:10pm will receive a late collection fine of £5.
  • Parents/carers should read the Behaviour Management Framework on the Go! Active website prior to the day of their booking.
  • Bookings can only be made in person at reception, online and email bookings won’t be accepted.
  • Go! Active reserve the right to cancel the scheme if advised to by Public Health Derbyshire.
  • Centre Managers hold the right to cancel any bookings where they feel the system is being abused by customers.
  • The Centre Manager’s decision is final and only they can rule on exceptional circumstances.
